Welcome to the Coptic Orthodox Christian community in South West England.
We hold regular worship activities and services in Bournemouth, with our priest Fr Botros Elmoharaky. The priest also regularly visits the families of our congregation carrying out bible studies and various spiritual activities in accordance with the doctrine and practices set out by our ancient Church in Alexandria. There is also a spiritual program for young people in our church to help them to grow in the Orthodox Christian faith, within the British culture.

Official opening of our new church

After strenuous fundraising efforts, we have finally purchased our new church and work has started on upgrading the building to suit our requirements. The whole congregation wishes to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve this goal and to announce the official opening of the church by His Grace Bishop Anthony on 12th July, 2009.
